Please Go back to Wednesday to see the Fullerton Flyers Baseball Game...

Today found us all sleeping comfortably until 8:00 AM... After a breakfast of cereal & toast with more homemade jams, we set out for the day...

First stop was at friends of the Phillips that are traveling in Ireland and England on vacation (holiday) to tend to cat feeding, fish feeding garden irrigation and the like... Then on to Downtown Los Angeles for a morning tour and lunch...

We visited Olvera Street (Old Mexico - an original street kept unchanged except for vendors down the middle), followed by a stroll through Chinatown ending in a "Dim-Sum" lunch... "Dim-Sum" are different kinds of meat, fish & vegetables wrapped in a "Dumpling" format... Both Chris and Kab seemed to thoroughly enjoy lunch!

Then, on home to pack up for the Beach... Huntington Beach, otherwise known as "Surf City" as coined in song is a several mile stretch of beautiful beach with strong, consistent waves known all over the world for it's great surfing...

The Scouts, both American and British, immediately headed for the water for some serious "body-surfing" and "boogie-boarding"... Several hours later, they literally had to be ordered out of the water for dinner...

After Dinner, many activities ensued, such as "Woggle-Toss", "Huge Slingshots", "Giant Frisbees", etc...

As darkness approached, "S'Mores" attracted the attention of most Scouts (and Leaders)...

Then, sadly, it was back home to begin packing (although Chris & Kab started Wednesday - Impressive organization! I hope some of it rubs off on Mitch & Greg!)... We're watching Flight Cancellations and info after the latest Travel Alerts... So far, their flight has not been cancelled... Don't worry, though, we're ready to take them back and keep them safe if it comes to that! In fact, I hate to see them leave! As stressful as it would be for them and their families back home to have to delay their flight, a small part of me is excited at the prospect of a slightly longer visit... They are simply marvelous Boys!
