Today, after much needed sleep, Max, Zac & Jaime rose early, and figured out the controls for the 50 inch Plasma TV... Elee cooked blueberry pancakes that were quite the hit along with toast and homemade jams... Max got adventurous and tasted the Habanero Jam and immediately complained it was too spicy... 5 seconds later found him smearing the remainder of his toast with more... Hmmm...
Then it was off to Huntington Beach, home of the "Beach Boys" to the US Open Surfing Championships... Events such as Motocross, BMX, Skateboard Shows, Surfing, Paddle Surfing were enjoyed by all...
Then we traveled to the host family "Thornley" for a BBQ and get together with most of the Brits and Home Stay Families... A lot of the American families know one another but we all met new Americans as well as the UK Scouts...
Then it was back home for the night... But not to bed before a "Night Swim" in the pool with the pool lights on...
